I am transforming my original appliance (A coffee maker) into a hot tub on a warm day. They relate to each other because of the use of hot water. I have added some people hanging out and I might add some more people doing summer activities on the grassy area.
I like the concept that you are doing here with the coffee hot tub. I think that the coffee machine and background fit each other nicely, but the man and the dog seem slightly too perfect for the rest of the image. I think it's a good idea to have them in there, but maybe make them a little less realistic. I like how you did the shadows on the coffee machine as well.
ReplyDeleteWow, the values in that coffee maker are wonderful! The object reads very nicely and I'm happy to see you made the inside of the pot transparent enough to make it have some three dimensionality. I do think the other subjects, the dog and person, are too detailed to truly feel like they are a part of the piece. A bit more time on making them more "drawn" like will tie it together well, I believe. Great work, excited to see the end result!
ReplyDeleteThis looks great so far! I think that the only weakness is that the dog is placed a bit awkwardly. Since there's nowhere for him to jump from he just looks like he's floating. Maybe if you put the coffee pot to the side then the top of the appliance could serve as a diving board for him to be jumping off of! Otherwise great work :)
